Tiger Cave Temple or Wat Tham Sua is a spiritual experience that is well worth the 1237 steps it will take you to get there.
Each leg of the journey offers a completely different view of the landscape below and a closer look at my own strength, determination and courage as I continued climbing step by step when everything in my body was screaming “STOP”! Sweat dripping out of every orpheus, a flush of crimson spreading across my cheeks illuminating my sheer will to complete the task at hand; quadricepts & glutes burning as though each step was adding another log to the fire. Step by step, case by case you make your way a little closer to one of Thailand’s finest natural wonders, Wat Tham Sua.
